First Time in LA, Live Cinema Nights

Josh Ott and I arrived at Burbank Airport yesterday to be greeted by the gentle, casual, friendly, swiss, and consusingly named Michael Lew, the organizer of the Live Cinema Nights gig we’re playing at. It’s the first time we’ve played on a program dedicated exclusively to what we do — collaborative live audio/visual stuff, and we’re excited to meet some folks and check out others’ work. So far, I’ve seen nothing to erase my New Yorker’s apprehension of LA, but I’m still open. If tonight goes well, I’ll consider removing it from my “cities I’m most afraid of” list.
